Captain America #154 - CGC 7.0 - Marvel Comics 1972

This issue is titled “The Falcon Fights Alone!” and is the first “official” issue to feature Jack Monroe as Bucky in his full glory.

The story opens with Falcon facing two impostors: a fake Captain America and a fake Bucky, who violently attack him to force him to reveal the real Cap's whereabouts. Falcon is overpowered, but some neighborhood youths spot him and help him, sparking a collective backlash against the fake heroes.

From here, Falcon is prompted to warn the Avengers as he heads to Moscow Cay, where Cap and Sharon Carter are on vacation. Meanwhile, the fake Cap/Bucky infiltrate Avengers Mansion to glean information about the real Cap.

It's a story with dramatic tension, elements of deception, false identities, loyalty, and a strong theme of community (the people rallying to Falcon's defense). Plus, the presence of Jack Monroe/Bucky adds an important piece for collectors.
