A precious fragment of the history of Italian comics
This original plate, signed by master Magnus (Roberto Raviola), is taken from issue 130 of the famous Satanik series, published by Editoriale Corno in the 1960s and 1970s. The work represents Magnus's unmistakable style at the height of his artistic maturity: clean lines, rigorous composition, and intense expressive power .
Satanik , created together with Max Bunker (Luciano Secchi), is one of the pillars of Italian black comics, and Magnus' original plates are today considered true works of sequential art , increasingly rare and sought after on the collector's market.
